About David Turton
A lifelong resident of the Jersey Shore, David Turton realized at an early age that he had a talent for seeing beauty in places that others overlooked. With camera in hand, David would wander the beaches, sidewalks and roads of coastal towns like Bay Head, Point Pleasant Beach, Manasquan and Spring Lake, snapping away until he found the photo that so perfectly captures the sense of place.
As he has evolved as an artist, David has produced stunning results using creative techniques such as stitching together 180 to 360-degree panoramic images and printing photos onto canvas that is stretched, a process that can preserve photos for a lifetime. He has been established as a real estate photographer as well, shooting the interior and exterior of residential homes and commercial properties. David also creates unique individual and family portraits, as well as invitations, calendars, mouse pads and greeting cards.
In past years, David's photographs have been recognized and published by top organizations from around the globe, some include: The New York Times Homes Magazine, American Red Cross, New Balance, and local businesses. In 2008, the Asbury Park Press Reader's Choice issue ranked David in the top three for "Best Photographer" and "Best Art Gallery" in Ocean County, NJ. In 2009, they named him "Best Photographer" in Ocean County. He was also awarded 1st place for "Best Artist" at the Point Pleasant Seafood Festival in 2005.
With a flair for creating images that dazzle and captivate, David and his work can be found throughout the Jersey Shore and beyond.
